RULES OF PROCEDURE OF THE ACCOMMODATION

1. Welcome Note

Welcome to Casa do Paço. We present you our internal regulations so that we can serve you in the best way.

1. Occupation

• Villa - maximum capacity of guests in the villa is 12 adults + 4 children aged between 3 and 16 years + 2 children / babies sleeping in cots.
• T0 - maximum capacity of guests in T0 is 2 adults + 1 child.
• Minimum age for the renter is 30 years.

2. Booking and Cancellation Policies

• Reservations can be made on the website (casadopaco.co.uk) by e-mail (reservas@casadopaço.pt) or by telephone, in both cases these are always subject to confirmation by Casa do Paço.
• Bookings can also be made through other electronic platforms, such as "VRBO".
• The reservation will only be considered effective after the minimum payment of 30% of the total amount on the date of booking. The remaining amount must be paid at least 15 days before the arrival day. If the remaining amount is not paid 15 days prior to arrival, the reservation will be cancelled and the 30% paid at the time of booking will be refunded.
• In case of cancellation up to 15 days before the date of entry, the 30% paid at the time of booking will be refunded;
• If you cancel your booking up to 7 days before the arrival date you will be refunded only 50% of the total amount of the booking.
• If you make the cancellation communication in less than 7 days there will be no place for any refund.
• Cancellation communications must be made in writing to the following e-mail address reservas@casadopaco.pt

3. Check-in

• Check-in hours are from 16:00h to 20:00h. Any change to the stipulated hours must be requested and accepted by the owner.
• Check-in can only be made if the total amount of the reservation has already been paid.
• When registering or booking, the guest will have to identify himself and provide his identity card/passport.
• Upon check-in you will be given a key ring with the keys to the property.

4. Check-out

• Check-out (departure time) should be done until 12:00 noon.
• Any alteration to the timetable must be requested and is subject to Casa do Paço's availability.

5. Pledge

A security deposit of EUR 500 must be paid at check-in or before the check-out and will be refunded to the guests at the end of their stay if no damages are made to the property.

The deposit will be returned 48 hours after check-out, provided that there is no damage and everything is in conformity, if there is damage exceeding the amount of the deposit it will be charged to the respective responsible for the reservation.

6. Damage

All damage to Casa do Paço should be reported to the owner.

Any damage to Casa do Paço will be charged to you if its cost is greater than the amount provided as security.

Casa do Paço, depending on the gravity of the damage, will take the legal measures deemed necessary in order to be compensated for the damage caused.

7. Complaints

Casa do Paço has a complaints book.

8. General rules

• Smoking is not permitted inside the villa.
• It is not permitted to change the layout of the rooms and lounges.
• No events or parties of any kind are allowed without the consent of the Owner.
• Pets are not allowed inside the facilities of Casa do Paço.
• Unsupervised swimming pool, Casa do Paço is not responsible for any incident, so we recommend maximum attention and alertness whenever there are guests (children or adults) who do not know how to swim.
• No rubbish of any kind (e.g. papers, cigarette butts, food waste, etc.) may be deposited in the gardens, vineyard, tennis court or swimming pool.

9. Security

In accordance with Decree-Law 228/2009 of 14/07, Casa do Paço will not be held responsible for any money, jewellery or other valuables that may disappear within its premises.

Always remember to close the main gates to the property and the villa doors when you leave the property.

People who are not on the list of guests of Casa do Paço are not allowed to stay.

10. Promotions and other offers

Casa do Paço makes available through its website (www.casadopaco.pt), information and current promotions.

Offers and promotions are temporary, and are subject to specific conditions.
